I have a confession to make. I'm constantly falling victim to the evil being known as writers block. I will sit and think about what to write and for the life of me I can not come up with something to present to the readers. How do you battle such things?
Well, it's not easy, but I present myself with this opportunity often as a way to prepare myself for when writers block does strike. I free write. There's just something about letting the mind fly free and off the wall. Usually my free writes take the form of stories that I myself will never post. The only reason being that they generally make their way into my current works.
I've started thinking about doing somethings with The Best Kept Secrets. One of them being little glimpses into the past like the one I put in before. Something that shows a little bit more of Stephanie and Allie's relationship. It's just something I've been pushing around in my mind. I don't know about acting on it.
I've got a lot of work to do for The Justice Card, but it should be a great chapter. I'm trying to think of something that will be of the same caliber of previous posts. The Tarot series is a really great series. I've got some ideas for the later chapters, but I have to get us there. Maybe some visits to Mama Rossi.
I write in two area's of Fanfiction. Janet Evanovich and Criminal Minds. Possibly my two greatest joys in the world. I love the books that Janet Evanovich puts out there, and Criminal Minds is something that I've held a deep appreciation for. An appreciation that might go too far sometimes.
I'll be posting weekly entries here as a way to sort out my thoughts.
